Generated documents are templates

Documents generated by Guidepost are template documents based on your inputs. They are not reviewed by a lawyer. Guidepost does not guarantee that any generated document is legally valid, enforceable, or appropriate for your specific situation.

You assume full responsibility for reviewing, completing, and using any document generated through this site. For transactions involving significant sums of money, complex circumstances, or any situation where you are uncertain about your legal rights or obligations, we strongly recommend consulting a licensed lawyer or notary.

No lawyer-client relationship

Use of Guidepost does not create a lawyer-client relationship between you and Guidepost or any person associated with Guidepost. Communications with Guidepost (including via email) are not protected by solicitor-client privilege.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guidepost and its operators, employees, and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site or any documents generated through it.

This includes, without limitation, any losses arising from reliance on information or documents provided by Guidepost, errors in generated documents, or failure to obtain appropriate legal advice.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and functionality of Guidepost are owned by Guidepost and protected by copyright. You may use Guidepost's guides and generated documents for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, scrape, or redistribute Guidepost's guide content for commercial purposes without written permission.

User conduct

You agree not to use Guidepost for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site. You agree not to use automated tools to access, scrape, or generate documents from Guidepost at scale without prior written permission.

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Refunds & Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind every document package with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your purchase date and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

To request a refund, email guidepost.ca@icloud.com with your order details. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
